Bailee was born on June 2, 1997 and exactly 15 years and 10 months later on April 2, 2013 Bailee got her angel wings.

While at a sleepover at a friends house Bailee went Into sudden cardiac arrest. After waiting for almost 5 months for some kind of explanation why this happened to my daughter, we were finally told that they could find nothing wrong with Bailee and her reason for dying was officially listed as undetermined.

Forever Famous. When Rory, Austin and I were sitting in the office at the cemetery with very few ideas,  FOREVER FAMOUS just popped into my head! I knew that whatever else we put on the headstone Forever Famous had to be included.  Thank you Bailee for telling me what you wanted ;) :) Thats the only way I can explain it!!

BAILEE'S CALIFORNIA DREAMS
Since Bailee was old enough to walk she LOVED to dance and sing and act.  She also had an incredible talent for fashion design. She was very young when she decided that when she grew up she wanted to be "famous".   I got her involved in local modeling and she did some modeling for Kohls Department store, but that was not enough. She was the lead roll in a school play and participated in community plays, still not exactly what she meant.  She was involved gymnastics and danced on a dance team but this still wasn't it.  She really wanted to be truly famous, and her California Dreaming started when she was about 3 years old. One of her little friends at daycare went to California and for some reason Bailee became obsessed with California! I will post the video of how she would say California,  she said  "cal-eee-ah-forn-ee-ah" :) From that first time she heard the word California she wanted to go!! Through the years she made plans with so many friends that when they turned 18 they were going straight to LA!!  After she died I got a message from a friend of hers from 6th grade saying that they were planning back then to run away to California.  Bailee must not have know how far away California really was!  But she was determined!  I did try to direct this ambition into something a little more promising, my suggestion was to be a news anchor that way she would be on tv and be famous and she would for sure be making a living.  Her response to this was "I hate the news mom".  So then I started pointing out MTV news people, this made her a little more interested in the thought of being a newscaster but she was still heading to Hollywood when she turned 18!  

GROWING UP
Bailee was very little all of her life, and also very very cute!  People fell in love with her wherever we went!  And she started realizing that after awhile.  She knew that she could get away with things because she could be cute.  She knew she could get her way because she was adorable.  It did become a little bit of a problem for a little while, but she learned how to deal with her beauty :)  Although at 15, she was just a normal self consciounce teenage girl who was unsure about everything she wore or how her hair or make up looked.  I of course told her she always looked good and she would say "your my mom you have to say that".
